30 Days of Lists | One Little Bird
I am  a big fan of challenges. I competed in (and completed!) the Lilypad’s 31 Challenges, but my favorite challenge from around the web actually starts on March 1st– 30 Days of Lists!

It’s not just another quick journaling challenge. It is another opportunity to record YOUR STORY. But not everyone can make a mini scrapbook every week or an art journal page every night. 30 Days of Lists is an encouragement and challenge to you that you CAN journal just something every day- even something as small as a list. Every day through the month of March 2013, a list prompt will be posted in the private blog – anything from weekend goals to celebrity crushes. At the end of the 30 days you’ll have a collection of entries creating a small snapshot of your life right now. Only 5-10 minutes per day are really needed. While you’re waiting for someone, or when you’re the passenger in the car. You can even download the list topics ahead of time to get a jump start, which is what I always do because I like to prep my lists ahead of time… but if you like surprises, visit the blog every day for the new list!

Because it’s fun. Because it has a great community that becomes even better every session (this is the 6th one!). Because it will get you thinking in simple ways about documenting your story.  Because, if nothing else, you have 31 new ideas/prompts of things to scrapbook. But most of all? It’s really, really, really fun.

For the last round, in September 2012, I actually made my “#30Lists” book out of my favorite One Little Bird kit of all time: Pedal Pusher.  You can see my cover up above, where I wrapped a cheap 4×6 photo album from Wal-Mart with washi tape and a cover that I made using Pedal Pusher.

For the inside pages to write my “lists” on, I created 10 different “mini layouts” with a lot of blank space that were sized to 4×6 that I printed on cardstock, cut out, and just slid into the “photo spots” in the album. I love how it turned out, but I blame most of that on the gorgeous kit that I used!

So let’s hear from you! Are you participating in 30 Days of Lists? Have you done so in the past? Have you created any mini albums with kits from One Little Bird?
