Hello Everyone!  Jen here getting a jump start on some Holiday cards!  I used script from the One Little Bird Holiday Word Art, Project Life Journaling cards from the Merrymaking set, and cut files from The Two Five set.

The “Peace on Earth” card was made using a cut file from The Two Five set.  I used my Silhouette machine to cut the image out, placed a gold foil project life card behind it, stitched around the perimeter, and stapled a gold star in the corner.  The “Merry Merry Merry” card took the same approach and again used a gold foil project life card to show through.  These cut files are so versatile!  You can place patterned paper, vellum, spray ink, transparencies, etc. behind the image to show through the negative space.  Or, use a clear transparency and place some glitter behind it!

The “December” card was made by converting a project life card from the Merrymaking set into a cut file!  Did you know you can do this?  Use the Trace function in your Silhouette program.  For this one I used typewriter word stickers behind the image to show through.

The white “Holiday” card I used a word from the 12 Days Holiday Word Art (“Holiday Decorating”).  I erased the script word “Decorating” in the Silhouette program, created a cut file using the Trace function, and cut out the word “holiday.”  A couple rows of stitching, a few sequins, and it was done!  There’s something about the white on white look that I just love.

The two cards below are combinations of journaling cards from the Merrymaking set and script words from the 12 Days Holiday Word Art.  Project Life Journaling cards don’t have to be limited to scrapbooking!  A quick enlargement and some embellishments for dimension can make a super cute card.
